The 2010 Newport Folk Festival lineup is now out, and will feature some pretty cool stars, some of which you might not have expected! There’s a nice blend of old and new at Newport Folk 2010, like Doc Watson and Trey Anastasio, Richie Havens and Jim James of My Morning Jacket. The Hollywood actor-comedian Steve Martin will be playing his beloved banjo, along with Bluegrass Band The Steep Canyon Rangers.
